Desert View Watchtower
The Desert View Watchtower is located at the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. It is accessible by car and it takes around 1 hour from the Grand Canyon Village. It is located pretty far from the Grand Canyon Village and hence the free shuttle does not operate to this watchtower. But it is very well worth the effort to make some time over to Desert View. I would recommend to spend some time there watching the sunset because it is spectacular here. The Desert View point provides stunning views of the Grand Canyon and a bit of the North Rim. There is an information center where it explains the geography of the canyon and the history behind it. I encountered a wedding couple taking their wedding shots there, those photos must have turned out beautiful!
La atalaya de la opinión se encuentra en el Parque Nacional de la Costa Sur del Gran Cañón. Es accesible en coche y se tarda alrededor de 1 hora desde el Gran Cañón. Se encuentra bastante lejos del Gran Cañón y por lo tanto el servicio de enlace no funciona a esta torre de vigilancia. Pero es muy bien vale la pena el esfuerzo para hacer un poco de tiempo a lo largo de la opinión del desierto. Yo recomendaría que pasar algún tiempo allí viendo la puesta de sol, ya que es espectacular aquí. El punto de vista del desierto ofrece unas vistas impresionantes del Gran Cañón y un poco de la Cuenca del Norte. Hay un centro de información donde se explica la geografía del cañón y la historia detrás de él. Me encontré con un par de bodas tomar sus tiros de boda allí, esas fotos deben haber resultado hermoso!
