Verdadero artífice de la recuperación

Este mecenas y amante del arte, hijo de un industrial francés residente en Málaga, fue el artífice y uno de los iniciadores en la recuperación de La Alcazaba de Málaga , por su gran amor a la cultura y a la ciudad en la que vivía. Es allí, en ese lugar al que dedicó gran parte de su vida y esfuerzo donde le ha sido erigido un busto en su memoria. Tan importante fue su obra que no sólo está este busto sino que hay una calle que lleva su nombre. En la base de mármol que lo sostiene, con un libro entre sus manos, se puede leer “Juan Temboury Álvarez consagro su vida a esta Alcazaba y la fecha de su nacimiento y muerte 1899-1965”.

Por lo que pude leer sobre su historia y vida, un muy merecido homenaje.
